Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015, you the consumer have a cooling off period during which you have the unconditional right to cancel the contract. The cooling off period ends 14 working days (not including weekends or bank holidays) after the day on which you or a third-party indicated by you (other than the carrier ) receives the goods purchased (or last good, lot or piece if it relates to an order containing multiple goods, lots or pieces which were delivered separately).
You must inform Hop & Barley of your decision to cancel your order. You may submit your request to cancel by emailing info@hopandbarley.co.uk.
We will reimburse all payments received from you for the goods purchased and will also reimburse delivery charges for the least expensive type of delivery offered by us, no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the goods back, or the day on which you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest. Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
You must send back the goods by following the instructions provided to you 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning these goods.
If the value of the goods returned is diminished by any amount as a result of handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (i.e. beyond the handling that might reasonably allowed in a shop), we may recover that amount from you up to the value of the goods.
The right to cancellation does not apply to newspapers, periodicals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications.
Orders may be cancelled at any time before they are dispatched. If you wish to cancel a pending order, please email info@hopandbarley.co.uk with your name and order number.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting info@hopandbarley.co.uk with your name and order number, and a refund will be made on all unmailed issues.
We reserve the right to cancel any orders for any reason, refunding our customers for the full amount immediately.
You are within your rights to return goods under the Sales of Goods Act 1979 which are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, do not correspond to their description.
If you wish to return goods which you believe to be damaged or faulty, please contact with your name and order number and we will discuss the problem with you and advise the best method of return.
Once you have notified us of your wish to cancel or return goods in accordance with the above, we will refund to you any money paid in relation to the order as soon as possible and in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the goods back, or the day on which you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.
Questions about the Returns Policy should be sent to us at info@hopandbarley.co.uk and we’ll be happy to answer these for you.
